This might be one of the most unusual fossils you have seen.
It is essentially a fully formed, fossilised Piece of  Poo from a marine reptile.
The Coprolite was found in Madagascar and is from the Eocene era - 55 Million years old!-
While the smell may have faded over the last 55 Million years other than that it still looks pretty much the same as the day it was produced!

This is a huge and unusual fossil shark tooth.

The Mako Shark still exists today but this tooth is from an extinct type.
The tooth is the largest Mako Tooth I have ever offered - and has a superb and unusual off-white colouration.

The enamel has suffered from many many years in the Ocean so has lost it's shine. It is slightly waterworn, but is otherwise a perfect tooth, wit no restoration at all.

NWA 1068, (Pseudonym: Louis Michel, named after a famous French political figure), is an exceedingly rare meteorite from the planet Mars found April of 2001 deep in the Sahara Desert near a village appropriately named Marir .  There are basically three main classifications of Martian meteorites and NWA 1068 falls into the Shergottite class named after Shergotty, India where the first of this type was witnessed as a fall.  We know this type of meteorite is from Mars due to the perfect ratio match between atmospheric measurements on the planet in 1976 by the Viking Lander and what was measured in the laboratory.  A very young crystallization age of 185 million years is also indicative of a geologically active planet sized body.  A total known weigh of only 577 grams is all that exists of this officially classified Martian meteorite, most of which is permanently secured in institutional collections . .

This auction is for 2 boxed pieces of genuine fossil Turtle shell.

 These chunks were collected in the Isle Of Wight, England. I can't confirm the exact type of Turtle bone you will receive.

There are various types, but can confirm these are both genuine and really intriguing.

The Allende meteorite is the largest Carbonaceous Chondrite ever found on Earth. The fireball was witnessed at 1:05 a.m. on Febraury 8th, 1069, falling over the Mexican of Chihuaha.

While you would expect dinosaur bone to be a dull brown or grey while it has been buried in the ground for Millions of years it has absorbed chemicals from the rocks and taken on the most incredible red  and brown colouration.

This is a polished endcut from a genuine unclassified ordinary Chondrite.

The stone has basically been sliced in half and the cut face polished beautifully, revealing the ferrous nickel flakes within the stone meteorite.
These are one of the things that set it apart from Terrestrial rocks, along with the presence of Chondrules - amazing and little understood balls that appear within the matrix of the meteorite itself.


The meteorite is unclassified which means it hasn't been given an official meteorite number but this doesn't mean it isn't a genuine and vauable meteorite. I guarantee every meteorite I sell for life and you will receive a signed certificate of authenticity as well as an A4 full colour meteorite information sheet. This is a super new item.
It is an Iguanodon Dinosaur rib bone.

Collected on the Isle Of Wight.

This is a lovely bone, measuring 12.5cm in length.
As is very common with these fragile bones, there has been a little restoration and a couple of breaks in the bone have been reglued.
I hope this isnt a big issue to you and I am not asking a fortune for this amazing piece of UK natural history.

This is an item that I have been trying to source for several years.
When the offer finally came I was really excited at having it to offer my customers.

Iridium really is one of the rarest elements on Earth
Less than 30 tonnes of it are mined every year -making it MUCH rarer than Diamonds or gold.

The interesting link to both fossils AND meteorites is that while Iridium is incredibly rare on Earth - it is 50 times more common in meteorites.
The presence in the ground of Iridium was one of the things that helped identify the meteorite impact that is thought to have wiped out the Dinosaurs 65 Million Years ago.
( check out my KT Boundary samples as these are from that very layer!)

This is a fragment of the meteorite - NWA 3140
It was found in Morocco in 2004.

This is a VERY rare type of meteorite.
One of the interesting aspects of a Ureilite is that it is an incredibly hard substance.
Meteorite dealers trying to cut Ureilites have often given up in disgust as they can end up with floor filled with broken saw blades.
Due to the huge forces the meteorite has been subject to in its traumatic existence it sometimes ends up with tiny nano- diamonds in the matrix. It is these tiny diamonds that helps destroy the blades!

A Ureilite is a rare type of stony meteorite that has a unique mineralogical composition very different from that of other stony meteorites. This dark grey or brownish meteorite type is named after the village Novy Urey , Mordovia Republic of Russia, where a meteorite of this type fell on 4 September 1886.
