I would be surprised if anyone has NOT seen Amethyst before.
It is one of the most famous and popular crystals available.

This is from a new supply and rather than the somewhat paler Brazilian Amethyst this material from Uruguay has a MUCH richer, deeper colour.
This does not come across as it's best in the images, but trust me when you see it in your hand you will understand!

This is an untreated natural specimen and would look great on any window ledge or desk.
