Genuine Campo del Cielo Meteorite Pyramid
A genuine piece of outer space, beautifully preserved in a striking red resin pyramid.
Each pyramid contains a real fragment of the famous Campo del Cielo iron meteorite, discovered in Argentina. The Campo del Cielo meteorites fell to Earth thousands of years ago and were first recorded by Europeans in 1576.
The meteorite fragment is permanently encased within the resin, protecting it from handling, moisture and corrosion while allowing it to be displayed and enjoyed.
The pyramid measures approximately 2.5 cm tall × 2 cm across the base, and the meteorite fragment inside weighs approximately 2–3 grams.
As these contain genuine meteorite fragments, every pyramid is naturally unique. The item you receive will therefore vary slightly from the one photographed, but will be the same size and very similar in appearance.
It makes a fascinating first meteorite for a new collector and a distinctive gift for anyone interested in space, astronomy, science or natural history. It also makes an attractive little display piece for a desk, shelf or windowsill.
Beautifully presented
Your meteorite pyramid comes presented in a black gift box and includes a signed certificate of authenticity with an individually numbered hologram.
You will also receive an illustrated A4 meteorite information sheet. It provides an accessible introduction to meteorites and is particularly useful for anyone receiving their first meteorite.
