It is crafted from a gorgeous teardrop shaped blown glass vial filled with fragments of ash from the World famou Mount St Helens eruption
The volcano erupted in 1980 and this eruption was one of the largest in history
It has erupted since but this ash was collected shortly after that eruption
The sample weighs roughly 0.25 grams
and was collected from the area of the Volcano and posted directly to me.
The Volcanic sample is sealed forever in the vial and then strung on a solid silver 18 inch curb chain.
