This is to my knowledge a truly unique piece of jewellery.
I have done my research and I cannot find ANY other piece of jewellery linked to the famous Chinese artist Ai Weiwei.

It is created with a hand painted ceramic sunflower seed created for the 2011 art installation at the Tate Modern - London in 2011

More than 16 MILLION seed were created by hand and placed on the floors of the main Turbine hall for visitors to walk on and enjoy.

The Seed was not actually stolen or supplied BY the Tate Modern exhibition, but was sourced from the specialist ceramic company in China that created the Sunflower seeds for the exhibition.

The seed is an amazing artifact in it's own right and was individually made by hand from high quality ceramic and then intricately hand painted to resemble a real sunflower seed.

The seed itself measures 1.5cm in length.

The Sunflower Seed is sealed in a silver plated spiral cage  - and then strung on a solid silver 18 inch curb chain.

It is beautifully presented in a padded, velvet lined gift box and would surely make a fantastic gift for anyone interested in this legendary artist.

This is VERY rare material, and I only have limited stocks to offer.

NB - This piece of jewellery is not endorsed or created by Ai Weiwei himself.
