This beautifully presented specimen contains genuine Woolly Mammoth hair recovered from the frozen lands of Siberia. Woolly Mammoths (Mammuthus primigenius) inhabited the cold northern landscapes of the Late Pleistocene, with populations surviving until around 10,000 years ago.
The genuine mammoth hair is carefully displayed within a clear membrane floating display frame, allowing the specimen to be viewed while remaining securely presented.
