  • Description

A beautiful and highly unusual solid silver fossil sea urchin ring, set with a genuine prehistoric marine fossil.

This ring features a real fossilised sea urchin (echinoid), carefully set in a silver bezel on a solid sterling silver band. The fossil displays the classic five-petalled pattern that echinoids are known for, formed naturally millions of years ago beneath ancient seas.

The specimen used in this ring was found in Mexico and dates from the Miocene period (approximately 5–23 million years ago).

Each fossil is completely natural, preserving its original structure and surface detail. These subtle variations ensure that every ring is entirely unique, with its own individual character.

The fossil measures approximately 1.5 cm across, creating a bold and eye-catching centrepiece, while the 6 mm wide solid silver band gives the ring a substantial and well-balanced feel.

Each ring is made to order and can be produced in any size, making it a perfect fit for the wearer.

This is a striking and unusual piece of jewellery — combining natural history with handcrafted silver design.
