This came from an idea I had working hard on my allotment....
While digging away I kept uncovering pieces of broken pottery in the soil
Some were just plain white and dull but some had intriguing patterns and textures.
I thought it would be nice to create something that is usually just flung away
There is a surprising amount of work to create something so simple.
As the pieces are so irregular and unique I have to work hard to create a custom silver setting for each one.
The settings have to wrap the pieces securely.
The necklace from bottom to the top of the bail measures 2cm
The necklace is strung from an 18 inch sterling Silver wire
( though just ask if you wanted a longer chain as that can be arranged at a small extra cost)
Boxed in a padded labelled jewellery box.
