  • Description

A striking and highly distinctive fossil Crow Shark tooth pendant, featuring a genuine prehistoric tooth in a simple and wearable design.

This pendant is made using a real Crow Shark tooth (Squalicorax), an extinct species that lived during the Cretaceous period. These sharks were widespread and their teeth are known for their curved, serrated blade shape, giving them a particularly sharp and recognisable appearance.

The tooth used here was found in Morocco and dates from approximately 60 million years ago, preserving its natural structure and form over millions of years.

Each tooth is completely natural, retaining its original shape, worn edges and surface texture formed in ancient seas. These natural variations ensure that every pendant is entirely unique.

The fossil measures approximately 2 cm from root to tip and is mounted using silver plated wire, supplied on an 18 inch sterling silver chain.

Crow shark teeth are less commonly seen than many other fossil shark species, and their distinctive hooked profile gives this piece a bold and unusual character.

A simple, authentic and highly collectable piece of prehistoric fossil jewellery.
