This is a simple and stylish new piece of jewellery - created with a variety of silver domes carefully hammered into shape from a hand cut piece of sheet silver.
These are the soldered onto a larger silver disc that has also been hammered in interesting ways
Please note that this is quite an experimental piece of jewellery and the finish on the domes and enamelling is not technically PERFECT.
I created it quite spontaneously and wanted this spontaneity to carry into the finished piece.
I have enamelled the finished dome with various colours of glass enamel.
The necklace is strung from an 18 inch sterling silver chain and would look great on any neck - man or lady
Each piece is individually made by Ian Barrett in his workshop using skills honed over many years of silversmithing.
The jewellery presentation has been greatly improved and as well as being presented in a labelled, velvet lined box it will sent in an embossed presentation box
