A GREAT SPACE GIFT FOR KIDS – OR ANYONE WHO LOVES SOMETHING TRULY UNUSUAL
This is a fascinating little meteorite pyramid containing a genuine fragment of a Stone Chondrite meteorite.
The meteorite fragment has been permanently encased inside a rich yellow lucite pyramid, creating an unusual display piece for a desk, shelf or collection.
The pyramid measures approximately:
2.5 cm high
2 cm across the base
The meteorite fragment inside weighs approximately 2–3 grams.
ABOUT THE METEORITE
Stone Chondrites are the most commonly found type of meteorite.
They originate from asteroids and contain material that formed during the very early history of our Solar System.
Although Stone Chondrites are not among the rarest meteorites, they are still extraordinary objects – genuine pieces of material from space that have travelled through the Solar System before eventually falling to Earth.
Each pyramid contains a genuine unclassified Stone Chondrite meteorite fragment.
PLEASE NOTE
The pyramid you receive will not contain the exact meteorite fragment shown in the photographs, but all are very similar in appearance and are exactly the same size.
Each specimen is individually labelled on the base.
Because the meteorite is permanently sealed inside the lucite, it is also protected from handling, moisture and environmental damage.
