The Ammonite is a gorgeous little specimen and has a pyritised outer surface which gives it a gorgeous metallic shimmer

The Ammonite is a Promicroceras Ammonite and was collected for me by a VERY skilled collector straight from Charmouth beach - a classic fossil collecting site on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset England - and dates from the Jurassic roughly 150 Million years ago
The Ammonite measures 2.1cm to give you an idea of scale
