I was asked by the wife of an old friend if I could create a special pair of cufflinks for her to gift to her husband to commemmorate their tenth wedding anniversary.
I worked with her and suggested various ideas and eventually thought of creating a unique pair of solid silver cufflinks set with pieces of iron meteorite.
The meteorite fragments are made as enamelled shooting stars.
To make them extra special I stamped each cufflink with the date of their wedding.
I created the cufflinks - and they were posted and eventually gifted in Venice on their holiday to celebrate this momentous occasion.
