This is a small but genuine and nicely mounted meteorite fragment.
The meteorite is an unclassified stone chondrite (L5-6) and was collected from the Sahara Desert on a recent trip by legendary US meteorite collectors the Hupe brothers so has excellent provenance.
It has then been securely glued with silicon glue to a colour information card which gives full information on the meteorite and it's origins.
