From Hells Creek Montana - USA
A rare fossil from a CLASSIC dinosaur Site
This is a lovely set of 2 pieces of fossilised turtle Shell.

From the late Cretaceous era,  45 - 65 million years ago and was found in the classic fossil hunting ground of Hells Creek - Montana USA
Turtle shell is not something that crops up in fossil form and this piece is a very nicely detailed section showing the knobbly outer texture and also the gently ridged interior.

The sections both measure roughly 3cm across.
