Radio Interview With Ian Barrett About Jurassic Jewellery

We caught up with Ian Barrett, collector, purveyor, and jeweller of interstellar (and psychedelic) artifacts. We chatted about the nature of celestial jewellery and mused upon the organic legacy of his late uncle as Ian continues a psychedelic legacy.

Fordite On The Frontpage!

Fordite On The Front Page!
I was thrilled to be asked for a newspaper interview.
The Dagenham paper realised the relevance of my Fordite jewellery as much of it was created from Dagenham Fordite collected at the Ford factory by the late Paul Mcnally many years ago.
I have already received messages and orders from Dagenham residents which is lovely.
I hope you enjoy the Fordite jewellery interview and pictures!

Jurassic Jewellery On Friday Night Dinner

I was very honoured to be asked to choose a special selection of fossil specimens to be used in a Channel 4 comedy show.
The producers of 'Friday Night Dinner' asked for a box of fossils, and was delighted when recently I saw the actual episode they were featured in.
They were shown in the very first scene in the episode, and again prominently in a later scene.
The episode in question is called ' Mr Morris' and is episode 3  in series 2.

The show stars Simon Bird - star of the now legendary Channel 4 comedy  'Inbetweeners' as well as acclaimed actress Tamsin Greig  - who found fame in 'Green Wing' and many other shows and plays.

The Early Days Of The Business....

This is an early piece of press coverage from 2007 when I was just building the business
I  was offered a place on a business development course NES in conjunction with Manchester Metropolitan University.

They were a font of advice and support and set me on the right road to success.

Sadly the course did not last for long and no longer exists but it was a great start for me at least!
